Wendy

Meet Wendy!

Wendy had a home, but when she got pregnant, her family abandoned her. We picked her up in the Sierra Norte mountains at the entrance to the Ixtepeji eco park. She has since had an abortion and been spayed and is in foster care with us.

She is an extremely loving, smart and playful dog who has enjoyed spending time with the rest of our pack, encouraging them to play more. She’s still only 1.5 years old, so she has bags of energy. In her foster home, she lives with a group of dogs, but she’ll still happily play on her own if no one wants to join her.

This girl is one of those dogs who is permanently in a great mood. Even a few weeks in a cone of shame with a bone infection didn’t knock her down. She is stoked on life every day!

One of her most adorable qualities is the fact that you cannot out-cuddle her. If you are looking for a companion who loves nothing more than snuggling, then Wendy might be your perfect match.

She does well off-leash on hikes and is learning to walk on the leash. She’s been to the city once and seemed to love witnessing all the action!

Wendy has very slight separation anxiety but is already learning to be more confident with the help of her Caravana Canina dog friends.
