Lupe

Lupe, short for Guadalupe, is a Husky mix and such a lady. She was found near La Salle high school with her pal Lio. The school security guard told us he'd seen Lupe's family leave her there. At first we thought it might be because she was pregnant, but it turned out our girl was just well fed.

Because she came from a home, Lupe doesn't carry the usual street dog trauma. She's sweet and submissive with people. She's fantastic on a lead, and while she loves playing with Lio and getting outdoors, she's just as happy relaxing on her dog bed or sunbathing.

You'll often find her sitting with her front legs crossed, or flashing a hilarious, awkward smile when she's excited to see you. She's generally submissive with other dogs too, though she does tend to resource guard around her food.

Lupe is around 2 to 3 years old. She's spayed, dewormed, and finishing her heartworm treatment now, with her full vaccination schedule wrapped up by the end of September 2026.

Lupe

Lupe, diminutivo de Guadalupe, es una mezcla de Husky y toda una dama. Fue encontrada cerca de la secundaria La Salle junto a su amigo Lio (enlace a Lio). El guardia de seguridad de la escuela nos contó que había visto a la familia de Lupe abandonarla ahí. Al principio pensamos que tal vez estaba embarazada, pero resultó que nuestra chica simplemente estaba bien alimentada.

Como viene de un hogar, Lupe no carga con los traumas típicos de los perros callejeros. Es dulce y sumisa con las personas. Se porta de maravilla con la correa y, aunque disfruta jugando con Lio y paseando al aire libre, también está feliz simplemente relajándose en su cama o tomando el sol.

A menudo la verás sentada con las patas delanteras cruzadas, o poniendo una sonrisa graciosa y algo torpe cuando se emociona al verte. Por lo general también es sumisa con otros perros, aunque tiende a proteger su comida.

Lupe tiene entre 2 y 3 años aproximadamente. Está esterilizada, desparasitada y terminando el tratamiento contra el gusano del corazón; tendrá el esquema de vacunación completo a finales de septiembre de 2026.
