CANGURO
3.5 year old Canguro is such a gorgeous goofball! He appeared on our street when he was about 1 year old, likely abandoned by a family because he had no street smarts. He was hit by a car and fractured his leg. And then shortly after, he was attacked by two dogs.
He has been in foster care for almost two years and has really blossomed into a confident, curious pup from his previously nervous and insecure beginnings.
Canguro is extremely playful and can wrestle endlessly with other dogs, making him a great match for someone looking to get their current dog more active (or adopt him together with his friend Millie).
He has learned to trust people again, although he needs a gentle touch. Canguro absolutely loves to fetch and is a fearless swimmer, lighting up whether at the lake or biting ocean waves.
While he is playful and energetic, he also really enjoys a good cuddle and rest. You'll often find him on his back, enjoying the safety of a cozy home. He does very well with cats, non-aggressive dogs, and gentle human children.
Surprisingly, he isn't phased by loud noises or the hustle and bustle of a city, so he could be happy in a rural or urban setting. However, he can get a little skittish when passing cars due to his accident.
