Camila is the sweetest Doberman you'll ever meet.

When her rescuer, Holly, first found her, Camila had been abandoned near her home. She was painfully thin, sick, and scared. Although someone had clearly failed her, Camila chose to trust. Within just a few hours, she allowed Holly to give her a bath and climb into her car for a trip to the veterinarian.

Today, Camila is healthy, happy, and discovering all the joys of being loved.

She is a gentle, affectionate Doberman with a playful side that's blossoming more every day. She loves playing with other dogs and is just discovering how much fun toys can be. She enjoys going for walks, is making great progress with her leash manners, and has excellent recall off leash—she loves staying close to her people.

Camila is friendly with everyone she meets, though she can be a little shy at first. Give her a little patience and kindness, and she'll soon be leaning in for affection. At home, she's happiest curled up on a soft bed, snuggled under a blanket, or stretched out in a sunny spot for an afternoon nap. After likely spending much of her life wondering where her next meal would come from, she still gets genuinely excited every time it's mealtime.

We believe Camila may have been used for breeding and abandoned after developing TVT (transmissible venereal tumor). Thankfully, that chapter of her life is over. She is now healthy, safe, and ready for a future filled with love.

Camila es la Doberman más dulce que conocerás.

Cuando su rescatista, Holly, encontró a Camila, había sido abandonada cerca de su casa. Estaba extremadamente delgada, enferma y asustada. A pesar de todo lo que había sufrido, Camila decidió confiar. En cuestión de horas, permitió que Holly la bañara y se subió tranquilamente a su coche para ir al veterinario.

Hoy, Camila está sana, feliz y descubriendo lo maravilloso que es sentirse querida.

Es una Doberman cariñosa, noble y muy juguetona. Le encanta convivir con otros perros y apenas está descubriendo lo divertidos que pueden ser los juguetes. Disfruta muchísimo salir a caminar, está aprendiendo a pasear con correa y va progresando muy bien. Cuando está sin correa, tiene un excelente llamado y siempre prefiere mantenerse cerca de las personas que quiere.

Camila disfruta conocer gente nueva, aunque al principio puede ser un poco tímida. Con un poco de paciencia y cariño, enseguida muestra su lado más amoroso. En casa, es feliz durmiendo en una cama suave, acurrucándose entre cobijas o tomando una siesta bajo el sol. Y después de haber pasado tanto tiempo sin saber cuándo volvería a comer, sigue emocionándose cada vez que llega la hora de la comida.

Creemos que Camila pudo haber sido utilizada para reproducción y abandonada después de desarrollar TVT (tumor venéreo transmisible). Afortunadamente, esa etapa ya quedó atrás. Hoy está completamente sana, segura y lista para comenzar una nueva vida junto a una familia que la ame para siempre.
